Eurolines/Omega :

Graham & Karl Strugnell launched their new 2006 kit & plans, not at the Dorchester but in their front room.
They had been hoping to announce a 6th year with Jim Walker (De Rosa) but due to a change in direction of Jim's company he notified Karl at the end of November that Karl would no longer be offered full support for 2006.
This was obviously a disappointment especially at the time of the year and only one month until the new year. But nevertheless the die was cast and decisions had to be made as to the way forward.

Karl has not had the best 04/05 due to a few different reasons not all down to fitness (or lack of it). So after sitting down and deciding the best way forward. To join a club/team or to perhaps to try and put something together to go independent? The Strugnell's decided that if they could they would put something together on their own & this would be the way to go (and avoid all the problems of un-professional riders)
Karl says; "My dad Graham got on the phone and spoke to various people to try and put a feasible deal together. Which he did (see sponsors).
I wanted to be able to do my own thing this year as well as a few races in Europe to target some major road races (if I can work the new BC system out!) and the national time trials"
